Armagnac, France’s oldest spirit, dates back over 700 years; and Château Arton is owned by the de Montesquiou-Fezensac family, descendants of d’Artagnan, our famous Gascon Musketeer.
This estate, overlooking Lectoure with views of the Pyrenees, has a soul; time stands still and you can enjoy a moment out of time, off the beaten track. Working in the heart of the vineyard that has given birth to so many excellent Armagnacs.
It is a member of Sud de France and the Collège Culinaire de France. We are organic producers and work using biodynamic and permaculture methods. We have been recognised by the 2025 President of the Republic’s Award as the best Armagnac in France for 2025/2026.
Conveniently situated between Toulouse and Bordeaux, a stone’s throw from the A62 with two exits less than 30 minutes away, Château Arton proves to be the ideal, central location in the South-West, in Lectoure, the capital of Haut Armagnac.
At the heart of our 80-hectare vineyard, we can accommodate between 20 and 100 people in various dedicated indoor spaces. We can also host up to 300 guests in our outdoor areas.
We naturally have all the facilities required to ensure the success of a meeting or seminar in the countryside, in the heart of France’s ‘Little Tuscany’. You can enjoy cellar tours, immersive experiences in the heart of Armagnac, private tours and tastings, and more. We can organise cocktail workshops, Armagnac and cigar pairings, and electric scooter tours through the vineyards, exploring the local area in vintage vehicles, and bespoke team-building activities.
